Got out the shower, late last night.. The room was thick with steam. Dank, its soapy odor caught in my throat. My lungs, like sponges absorbed the moisture. I tip-toed out alone, silence rushed to fill my ears, I grabbed the railing to steady myself. A bit off-balance, I turned around slowly only to find I'd caught sight of something out the corner of my eye.. A slender being similar in size to myself only.. taller? Its skin was draped thin, almost translucent over its looming figure. It was hideous. It barely moved.. it just.. held itself up.. staring..
